The Lexus IS is all-new for 2007 in the Middle East, although other markets have been getting 2.5-litre and 3.5-litre versions since 2006. The local market only gets a 3.0-litre V6 engine. The IS 300 offers the most sporting ride of the Lexus range, going head-to-head directly with the Germans in the enthusiast market. The rear-wheel drive IS comes with an impressive set of standard features that includes a premium sound system with CD auto-changer MP3 and WMA compatibility along with 13 speakers, power windows and front seats, keyless entry and start, cruise control, HID headlamps with auto-leveling system, and a fabric interior.
