2016 Volkswagen Tiguan

The Tiguan, small in size and conservative in design, was mildly facelifted for the 2012 model year to incorporate the latest VW design cues, mostly involving LEDs and a new grille. Three different trim levels include the Trend&Fun, the Sport&Style and the Track&Style, the latter of which is supposedly tuned for offroading, given its underbody plates and higher front bumper, though there is no low-range gearing for the 4Motion all-wheel-drive vehicle. There are two 4-cyinder turbocharged engines, one a 1.4-litre and the other a 2.0-litre but available in two different states of tune. The engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic. The Tiguan has seating for five, with a split-folding 60:40 rear bench, and has multiple position settings for the seatback.
