2010 Mercedes-Benz CLC Class

For 2009, the previous C-Class Sports Coupe breaks away from the C-Class range and gets its own name. Now dubbed the CLC-Class, the model gets a new front and rear end, and an upgraded interior. And yes, it is a hatchback, even if the marketing people insist it's a coupe. However, it is still heavily based on the previous C-Class version, and is now being built in Brazil. Starting off the new line-up are two supercharged 1.8-litre engines, in the CLC 180 Kompressor and the CLC 200 Kompressor, at different states of tune. The 2.5-litre V6-powered CLC 230 comes next. The 3.5-litre V6-powered CLC 350 rounds off the range. Many of the lower models are offered with a manual gearbox in addition to the automatic, though dealers might be hesitant to order one for you. Features include power windows, electric mirrors, cloth or leather upholstery, optional panoramic sunroof, alloy wheels, automatic a/c, keyless entry, CD stereo, sports seats and more.
