2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK Class

The all-new GLK is the first Mercedes-Benz entry in the competitive compact soft-roader market, although its premium pricing and already-outdated styling are far from competitive. Available in GLK 280 trim with a 3.0-litre V6 and in GLK 350 trim with a 3.5-litre V6, both models come standard with 4Matic all-wheel-drive and a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The GLK apparently has some offroading pretensions, with an optional 'off-road styling package' that adds nothing but matte-black bumper strips and a simulated skidplate. Sizeable 19-inch alloy wheels are standard, with 20-inch ones being optional.
