Overview
The Porsche Boxster has been completely revamped for 2012 in almost all aspects, with a new exterior design that doesn't rely on leftover 911 parts like before. The engines remain the same though, with minor updates, so the base Boxster is powered by a 2.7-litre flat-6 and the Boxster S gets a 3.4-litre flat-6, with a choice of 6-speed manual or 7-speed "PDK" automanual. The Cayman GTS debuted as a 2015 model year, featuring more power and also gets the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. The GTS also gets the 3.4-litre flat-6 engine. The 2-seater Boxster comes standard with an insulated power soft-top, 18-inch wheels, HID headlights, power windows, keyless entry and not a whole lot else.
