2026 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado

The fifth-generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado was introduced as an all-new model in 2024. Its design takes inspiration from the original first-generation Land Cruiser Prado, adopting a more upright shape, squared-off bodywork and a noticeably more rugged appearance than the model it replaced.

The new Prado continues to be positioned below the larger Land Cruiser LC300, offering three-row seating, strong off-road capability and a more manageable footprint for everyday driving.

Engine and transmission

The latest Land Cruiser Prado is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. It replaces the naturally aspirated engines offered in the previous generation and provides stronger low-end torque for both highway driving and off-road use.

In Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Toyota also offers a 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine. Both the petrol and diesel engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
