Under the hood, the Shelby GT500 comes with a supercharged 5.8-litre V8 engine, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Functional features include launch control, Brembo brakes, one-piece carbon-fibre driveshaft, Torsen differential with 3.31.1 axle ratio, 19-inch alloy wheels in the front and 20-inch alloy wheels at the back wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G2 tyres, and SVT Engineered Bilstein cockpit selectable dampers.
