Infiniti Q50 2021 Overview

The Q50 is also longer, wider and sits lower than the previous generation, which was the G37. For 2017, it got new engines and for the 2018 model year it got a slight facelift. The interior gets Infiniti's InTouch system, a touch screen which displays information and navigation. Owners will also be able to download, update and synch personal apps through their smartphones and USB drives. The standard motor is a Mercedes-sourced 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged unit which made its debut in 2015. In 2017, a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine was introduced, available in two different tunes. There is also a 3.5-litre V6 engine coupled with an electric motor, which will be available in select markets. Standard features include power steering, power windows, electric mirrors, central locking, keyless entry, leather seats, LED headlights and taillights, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lamps, LED fog lights, twin exhaust pipes, dual-touch screens, Bluetooth, front and rear parking censors with rearview camera, dual-zone adaptive climate control with rear vents, AM/FM audio system with USB/iPod support, Bluetooth and 6 speakers, and 17-inch alloy rims. Optional equipment include sunroof, navigation system, 19-inch alloy rims, sports seats and sports suspension. Standard safety features include tyre pressure monitor, ABS, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), traction control, stability control, hill-start assist and 6 airbags. Optional safety equipment include Active Lane Control, which uses a camera-based straight-line stability system which is included as part of the Lane Departure Prevention system. The Lane Departure Prevention system makes small steering input angle adjustments if the car undergoes minor direction changes due to road surface changes or crosswinds. Another optional safety feature is the Direct Adaptive Steering system which allows independent control of the Q50's tire angle and steering inputs, transmitting the driver's intentions to the wheels faster than a mechanical system.
