The Lotus Elise is a super-light sports convertible. In 2017, two 4-cylinder engines were available, a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre and a supercharged 1.8-litre engine. Both are available with a 6-speed manual transmission. It gets go-kart like handling, thanks to its light weight, as well as its aerodynamics and aluminium chassis. The soft-top is standard on the Elise, with the option of a hard-top as well. Standard options include light weight aluminium passenger foot-rest, proBax seats, plain black leather sun-visors, light weight aluminium foot-well divider, black leather steering wheel, black leather gear lever gaiter, polished aluminium gear-knob and hand break sleeve, radio and single CD/MP3 player with 4 speakers, immobiliser with remote activated alarm and central door locking.
