Skoda Octavia 2015 Overview
An all-new Skoda Octavia came out in 2014 in the GCC. Compared to its predecessor, the Octavia has grown significantly in length and width. The new model is 90 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the second-generation Skoda Octavia. At the same time, the wheelbase has grown by 108 mm, mainly benefiting the interior and space on the rear seats. There are three 4-cylinder turbocharged engines to choose from, the 1.4-litre, the 1.8-litre and the 2.0-litre. The base Octavia Ambition model comes with 16-inch steel wheels, fabric interior, rear mud flaps, automatic A/C, electric adjustable, heated & foldable door mirrors, electric windows, parking sensors, radio with CD player and MP3 support, 4 speakers, remote central locking, fog lights and front & side front airbags. The Octavia Elegance model gets additional 17-inch alloy wheels, leather and fabric interior, cruise control, 8 speakers, LED rear lights and curtain airbags. The Elegance Plus model gets 18-inch alloy wheels, leather interior, sunroof and xenon headlamps. The Octavia RS gets 19-inch alloy wheels, carbon-fibre inlays for dashboard and door panels, boot spoiler, red brake calipers, sports suspension, Bluetooth and Apple connectivity.
