The third generation Peugeot 308 went on sale in the GCC in 2022. It gets a turbocharged 1.6-litre 4-cylinder, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Even the most basic model gets driver & passenger airbags, ABS brakes with EBD, trip computer, infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, speed-sensitive power steering, electric windows and mirrors, cooling vent inside the glove compartment, height-adjustable headlights, split-folding rear seats, remote key with central locking, and alloy wheels.
