2019 Borgward BX7

The Borgward BX7 marks the rebirth of the long-defunct German luxury brand as a Chinese-built crossover. It is a compact crossover powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo 4-cylinder mated to a 6-speed automatic and a choice of front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive. The BX7 comes in S trims with 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as SE and SL trims with 18-inch alloys. There is a choice of 5-seater and 7-seater confingurations, and three levels of leather upholstery, depending on trim. All models get basics such as power windows and mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone automatic a/c, 12.3-inch touchscreen, USB/AUX ports, smart keyless entry and start, LED tail lamps and parking sensors.
