The Corolla is a bestseller among compact sedans in this region, relying on reliability and economy to keep it competitive. Fully redesigned for the 2008 model year, the Corolla sedan can be equipped to be a barebones commuter or a luxurious cruiser. We once compared the older version of the Corolla to an Audi, which no doubt made Audi angry. However, the base Corolla offers long-term value for money and comes standard with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, air conditioning, a radio cassette player, manual windows, dual front airbags, 15-inch steel wheels and a cloth interior.
