The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan is a five-seat compact SUV positioned between the smaller T-Roc and the larger Teramont models in the Volkswagen range. The current model gets a more rounded exterior design, a heavily updated interior and a wider range of technology and driver-assistance features.
For the Middle East, the Tiguan is available in Life, Life Plus, Elegance and R-Line trims, with a choice of 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engines depending on the specification.
Volkswagen Tiguan engine and performance
The entry-level Tiguan uses a turbocharged 1.4-litre TSI 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
