Built on a platform derived from the Land Rover LR3, but with a thoroughly reworked suspension, it comes with either a 4.4-litre naturally aspirated V8 or a 4.2-litre supercharged V8, both mated to a six-speed automatic. Full-time four-wheel drive with a two-speed, shift-on-the-fly, electronic transfer case is standard, as is a locking center differential. Optional is a rear differential lock.
