The Lexus LX 570, which was all-new for 2008, received a minor facelift for 2012. Heavily based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, new model gets a new front-end, bi-xenon headlights, new 18-inch or 20-inch wheels, new tail-lamp clusters and a couple of features such as "overturn" assist and new interior colours. The Lexus is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The LX has a vehicle "posture control" system with four-wheel active height control and adaptive variable suspension that reacts more quickly and allows for a greater range of adjustment than the system it replaces. Active safety features include stability control, ABS brakes and traction control, as well as multiple airbags. The leather interior can be had in tan, beige or black. The plush interior is covered in leather and wood, with seating for at least seven, and features such as ventilated front seats, power-folding third-row seating, sunroof, navigation, Mark Levinson CD/DVD stereo, front-rear-side-view cameras and all the usual power accessories. A "Sport" kit with a unique front bumper was introduced for 2013 in the top models. The touchscreen computer gets a new interface for 2012.
