The Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG has been completely redesigned, in line with the rest of the S-Class range. It is still motivated by a 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8, but produces more power than its predecessor. The engine can be coupled with rear-wheel-drive or an AMG-tuned 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, as well as an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed automatic transmission.
