The new-for-2011 Safrane is the second iteration of Renault's Korean-built midsize sedan offering in the GCC. It has been completely redesigned compared to the previous Nissan-derived model, and now comes with three Nissan-sourced engines. The base model comes with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine and comes standard with a CVT automatic, dual front airbags, ABS, fog lights, manual a/c, keyless entry, power windows, alarm, 6-speaker CD/MP3 stereo, Bluetooth phone, Renault key card, cruise control with speed limiter, grey fabric seats and 16-inch steel wheels. The top model comes with a 3.5-litre V6 with a 6-speed automatic, and additionally comes with an athermic windshield, electric mirrors with memory function, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, tri-zone climate control, deadlocking with an anti-intruder device, electric rear windows with anti-pinch, Bose CD/MP3 stereo with 10 speakers, Bluetooth phone, Renault keyless smart card, panoramic sunroof, floor mats, cream leather seats, power front seats with massage, integrated rear sunblind, as well as front and rear parking sensors.
