2018 Suzuki Swift

The 2018 Suzuki Swift is a complete overhaul from the previous model, built on an upgraded platform which is based on the likes of Ignis and Baleno. While shorter than the outgoing model by 10mm, the new Swift boasts a 20mm increase in its wheelbase, thus offering more roomy interior and increased boot space. Powered by a new 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine, the new motor is actually smaller than before, but more efficient. This front-wheel-drive hatchback still comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, although some GCC dealers may choose to only import the auto version. Features include 4 or 6 speaker CD/MP3 stereo with USB port, automatic a/c, power windows, power mirrors, keyless entry, cloth upholstery, leather steering wheel with audio controls, intelligent keyless entry with starter button, Bluetooth and fog lamps. Available safety features, depending on trim level, includes front airbags, side-curtain airbags and ABS with EBD.
