Toyota Avanza 2021 Overview
The Toyota Avanza got a facelift for the 2016 model year. It got a facelift in 2020. The rear-wheel drive Avanza, which is actually a rebadged Daihatsu, is a reasonably priced seven-seater minivan. Only the 1.5-litre engine will be offered in this region. It comes either with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. In the UAE, an SE model is offered which features automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, central locking, keyless entry, A/C with rear vents, fabric seats, audio entertainment system with AM/FM/CD/AUX/USB support, audio controls on steering wheel, 6 speakers, halogen headlamps, fog lamps, rear spoiler and 15-inch alloy wheels. In Saudi Arabia, the same specs is sold as an XL model. The fleet spec model gets a manual transmission, 14-inch steel wheels, and does not get the fog lamps, mud guards, steering controls and chrome linings in the exterior. On the safety side it gets standard dual airbags, ABS and electronic brake distribution (EBD).
