Overview
The all-new Chevrolet Corvette debuted as a 2014 model year. In 2017, it got a new transmission. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette features a LT1 V8 engine, but still has the same 6.2-litre displacement as the previous generation. It gets a 7-speed manual transmission it has, with rev-matching technology. For customers who don't like the third pedal, there is the 8-speed automatic transmission, the same gearbox as the previous generation, but tweaked with different internals for better performance. A new electric power steering system and cylinder deactivation help to improve fuel economy. There is a Drive Mode Selector which has 5 settings Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport and Track. The interior is where they have made some much-needed improvements from the previous gen. The designers made sure they cover as much of the interior as possible with soft-touch materials.
