The all-new Chevrolet Corvette debuted as a 2014 model year. In 2017, it got a new transmission. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette features a LT1 V8 engine, but still has the same 6.2-litre displacement as the previous generation. It gets a 7-speed manual transmission it has, with rev-matching technology. For customers who don't like the third pedal, there is the 8-speed automatic transmission, the same gearbox as the previous generation, but tweaked with different internals for better performance.
