2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT sits at the sharp end of the performance SUV spectrum, and in many ways, it is the most extreme SUV Porsche has ever built. While the standard Cayenne remains a benchmark luxury SUV, the Turbo GT is an unapologetic exercise in engineering excess, designed to out-accelerate supercars while still carrying the family in relative comfort.
Exterior Design
From the outside, the Turbo GT distinguishes itself immediately. While all Cayenne Coupes feature the sloping rear roofline, the Turbo GT gets a more aggressive look: larger front air intakes, carbon-fibre roof and rear spoiler, a unique rear diffuser, and titanium exhaust tips that exit through the centre.

The ride height is lowered by 17 mm compared to the regular Turbo, and it rides on model-specific 22-inch wheels wrapped in specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres. All of this adds up to an SUV that looks far more purposeful than its siblings — less about subtle luxury and more about Nürburgring lap records.
Engine and Performance
At the heart of the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT lies a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, hand-assembled and tuned specifically for this model. It produces 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque, paired with Porsche’s 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe hits 0–100 kph in just 3.3 seconds, depending on how it’s equipped. Top speed is in the region of 305 kph in markets where that’s legal.
Top speed is quoted at 305 km/h, which pushes it well into supercar territory. The sound from the titanium sports exhaust is appropriately theatrical, crackling on downshifts and roaring under full throttle, reminding you that this is no ordinary Cayenne.
Handling and Dynamics
The Turbo GT is not just about straight-line speed. Porsche has thrown its full engineering arsenal at this SUV. It comes with active air suspension, adaptive dampers, rear-axle steering, torque vectoring, and active anti-roll control as standard. The suspension is 15% stiffer than the Turbo, tuned specifically for track use. Braking is equally over-engineered, with massive carbon-ceramic brakes ensuring fade-free stops even after repeated high-speed runs.

On the road, the Turbo GT feels improbably agile for something weighing over 2.2 tonnes. The steering is sharp, body control is remarkably flat, and grip levels are immense. Where a normal Cayenne Turbo might lean towards luxury, the Turbo GT feels like a giant sports car.
Interior and Features
Inside, Porsche hasn’t compromised too much on practicality, but the cabin is clearly driver-focused. You sit in heavily bolstered Alcantara and leather sports seats, while carbon-fibre trim panels add to the motorsport vibe. The coupe roofline reduces rear headroom slightly, but two adults can still sit comfortably, and the boot remains large enough for a couple of suitcases.

Technology is state-of-the-art, with a 12.3-inch central infotainment display, a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as is Porsche’s latest voice assistant and online navigation system. A Bose surround system is standard, with an optional Burmester 3D system for audiophiles.
Practical features like four-zone climate control, rear heated seats, and ambient lighting remind you this is still a luxury SUV, albeit one with the soul of a track weapon.
Fuel Economy
With great power comes predictable thirst. The official combined fuel economy for the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT is rated at 14.1 L/100 km, though real-world figures are often higher if you make regular use of the V8’s performance. On the highway, we had figures close to 11 L/100 km when we were behaving ourselves, but spirited city driving will push consumption well above 17 L/100 km.

Safety and Driver Assistance
As expected at this level, the Turbo GT comes with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features. Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, night vision, and a 360-degree camera system. Structural rigidity is class-leading, and safety ratings are in line with Porsche’s reputation for engineering excellence.
Verdict
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT is, in many ways, the ultimate contradiction: an SUV that accelerates like a supercar, corners like a sports coupe, yet still carries passengers and luggage in comfort. It doesn’t make rational sense, and it isn’t meant to — this is Porsche proving that physics can be bent, if not entirely broken.

Yes, it is eye-wateringly expensive, and yes, the fuel economy is heavy. But for those who want one of the most extreme, capable, and entertaining SUVs on sale today, the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT sits in a class of its own.
