Volkswagen Brings Back All-New Passat and Jetta to the Middle East

Volkswagen Middle East is making a significant comeback in the region’s sedan market with the return of two iconic nameplates – the all-new Volkswagen Passat and the all-new Volkswagen Jetta.

Both models have long histories in the Middle East, trusted for their mix of practicality, understated design, and solid German engineering. Their reintroduction signals a renewed push from Volkswagen to strengthen its sedan lineup, with both cars updated to meet modern customer expectations while staying true to their legacy.

All-New Volkswagen Passat

The new Passat is now the longest and most spacious version ever built, with a focus on comfort and refinement. It features class-leading rear seats that offer ventilation, massage, and reclining functions – a feature rarely seen in its segment.

Key technology highlights include Matrix LED headlights, a 15-inch infotainment system, and the brand’s latest driver-assistance and safety features. Volkswagen positions it as the “business class” of sedans, combining everyday usability with premium touches.

All-New Volkswagen Jetta

Meanwhile, the Jetta returns in its boldest form yet. The latest model is the largest Jetta to date, offering the longest wheelbase in its class for added interior space and versatility. Despite its growth, it retains its character as the more compact and agile sibling to the Passat.

Standard features include digital displays, seamless door handles, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and adaptive cruise control. The new design aims to blend modern style with the everyday practicality that has defined the Jetta for generations.

Price & Market Launch

“The Jetta and Passat are two of Volkswagen’s most recognisable models worldwide, and their return is an exciting moment for us in the Middle East,” said Matthias Ziegler, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East. “Both cars have been reimagined to deliver more space, innovation, and the quality that our customers expect.”

Pricing will start from $29,700 (AED 109,000 approx.) for the Passat and $24,900 (AED 91,000 approx.) for the Jetta, making both models competitive options in the sedan segment.

Volkswagen has announced that the official launch for the Middle East is scheduled for November 2025, with availability details for the UAE to follow.
