Nissan Murano convertible coming in 2011

An American website called Edmunds.com is reporting that Nissan is continuing with their previously-mentioned plans to develop a convertible version of the Nissan Murano.

The Murano convertible will be a limited-production model, and will be unveiled as a 2011 model. It will supposedly have two doors, a cloth folding roof, and should have enough seating for at least four people. Expect it to be powered by the same 3.5-litre V6 that services the current four-door Murano crossover.

We are not sure why Nissan is even bothering with such a vehicle. Check out the standard five-door model in the Nissan Murano buyer guide.
