Best Rent-A-Car in Saudi Arabia uses Chevrolet cars

Chevrolet and GMC in Saudi Arabia, has delivered the first wave of cars from a contract consisting of 1200 Chevrolet cars to Best Rent A Car, a member of Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group, following a deal with Best Trading Company signed in May.

The handing over of the first vehicles was attended by Atef Tlili, Regional Fleet Manager – General Motors Middle East, Engineer Essam Majlad, CEO of the automotive division in Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group, and Imad Al-Zein, General Manager of Best Rent A Car Company.

Discussing the deal between the two parties, Atef Tlili, Regional Fleet Manager – General Motors Middle East said: “This transaction is significant as it shows the confidence General Motors has in the Saudi market and the long partnership between Abdullatif Alissa Automotive and Best Rent A Car Company is a clear indication of such confidence. It is not surprising that Best Rent A Car selected Chevrolet cars, as it shows the company’s appreciation of Chevrolet cars for their durability. They are also considered some of the first-class service cars, where ease of use and price, which is competitive to their peers in the same segment, as well as the availability of spare parts in the Saudi market is unique in itself.”

Engineer Essam Majlad described this deal as being part of the company’s obligations towards its customers and the strong relationship between the two companies over the years. He said that it also provides the necessary support and services for the cars during the period of operation.

Majlad pointed out that the deal supports the local economy, and said: “This deal is a great support to the automotive sector and the local economy in general and reflects the stability which they are both starting to witness. We are happy and satisfied with this deal as the company enjoys a good reputation in the Saudi market and a high level of customer confidence.”
