Audi Q7 2010 facelift debuts in UAE & GCC

2010 Audi Q7
The bloated Audi Q7 received a facelift for 2010, and is now available in showrooms across the GCC. Changes are largely cosmetic in nature, and doesn’t help the pug-faced 4×4 look any better than before.

Changes to the 2010 Audi Q7 include new LED headlights and indicators, LED taillights, a chromed front grille, new bumpers, new instrument cluster, ambient lighting and new cabin trim choices, along with new paint colours.

Available engines, including the 3.6-litre V6 and the 4.2-litre V8, have been carried over. Audi has also apparently added an energy recovery system, which enables the alternator to generate electricity while cruising and braking. The battery uses this power to charge itself rather than load the engine, adding an extra layer of complexity to the electrical system.

The 2010 Audi Q7 is priced at Dhs 205,000 for the 3.6-litre and Dhs 260,000 for the 4.2-litre in the UAE. For specs, visit the Audi Q7 buyer guide.
