Kia Rio 2012 first details released
If you were in the market for a compact European yuppy-mobile, you might want to wait until the 2012 Kia Rio hits the road by winter. Because it is, as with recent Kia products, a stunner, at least in hatchback form anyway.
The 2012 Kia Rio will be sold in both sedan and hatchback body styles. Set to debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March, the new Rio will be available with a 138 hp 1.6-litre direct-injection 4-cylinder engine for the U.S. market, with a turbocharged 1.2-litre direct-injection engine destined for Europe.
The new model has a 70 mm longer wheelbase, as well as being 55 mm longer, 15 mm lower and 25 mm wider.

Yeah man, i guess the old generation of designers in the Japanese car segment should be revolutionized by the younger designers.
Kia is definitely going the right direction, in terms of design at least. I do hope the durability of the car is as good as its designs.

Keeping in line with their previous revisions, their designs are similar. Totally awesome design, with small cues from the sportage at the rear end.
wonder if the Gulf region will get the 1.6L or the 1.2L turbocharged. will have to wait for the Geneva Motor Show for more details :).

I BOUGHT NEW KIA RIO HATCHBACK FROM TUNISIA ONLY 7 DAYS AGO WITH 19244 USD (CITY CAR).WHEN I START USING THE GEAR BOX IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.I RETURNED BACK TO THE SELLER AND HE TOLD ME THAT WE FORGOT TO PUT GREASE IN THE GEAR BOX.IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IS NOT NORMAL.AFTER THEY PUT GREASE THE PROBLEM REMAINS THE SAME.PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO ?I AM SURE I WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY BACK.IF ANY HIGH KIA RESPONSINLE IS READING MY MESSAGE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO?
