Video of the week: Nissan GT-R spins in a drag race

We thought it was impossible, but someone apparently managed to spin a Nissan GT-R, and that too on a drag strip. We have no idea how the grippiest car ever engineered can do that, unless severely messed with.

  1. Real Surprise !

  2. Early signs that nissan GTR driving aids and electronics are becoming sentient..

  3. No ROJ, Otherwise you would have an excuse only Porche can be spun because its driver car and gtr cannot be spun because its computers car. Anything that’s on wheels can be spun, Lol

  4. unless severely messed with. 🙂

  5. It is surely because of some crap they did to its computer.

  6. I CANNOT BELIEVE NO ONE NOTICED HOW HE DID NOT GET A SINGLE SCRATCH

    LIKA-BAWWSS…

  7. MY GTR SPINNED IN YAS ISLAND IT WAS BECAUSE IT IS HEAVILY MODIFIED AND STOCK TYRES 1OOO HORSE POWER AND 2 SECONDS FLAT TO TOUCH 10O KPH WHAT ELSE WOULD U EXPECT. ESPICALLY IN A DRAG STRIP FILLED WITH OIL SO THE TYRES DONT GET DAMAGED WHILE PERFORMING A WHEELIE

  8. software error. that was a failsafe reboot

  9. I think the fact that even in the spin the car was still ‘in control’, i.e. it managed to avoid the barriers… that says a lot.

  10. The driver switched off the launch control or VDC its as simple as that, the other GTR had no problem with grip.

  11. @Rashid

how did you manage to boost the horse power? Good job!
