Bentley back on track with Continental GT3 race car

At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Bentley have disclosed their racing intentions in the form of the Continental-based GT3 race car, a concept currently being developed by a dedicated team at the factory in Crewe.

It will mark the return to the racetrack, since its sixth Le Mans victory in 2003.

The Continental GT3 concept is born of the Continental GT Speed, the fastest road-going Bentley ever and will depict patriotism with the inclusion of Union flags.

The Continental GT3 concept has also received the full support of the FIA, and is equipped for endurance as well as outright speed making it eligible for a range of race series and events including 24-hour marathons.

The Continental GT3 racer will continue it’s development over the upcoming months in preparation for the start of a test programme in 2013.
