Porsche has unveiled their latest iteration of their little crossover, the Macan GTS.

The Porsche Macan GTS will sport high-gloss and matte black accents on the lower body and grille, alongside stealthy GTS badging on the back. It will also ride on Satin Black 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels.

The GTS will be powered by the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 as the Macan S, but the engine has been tuned to produce 360 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It sends power to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, which in turn translates to a 0-100 kph time of 4.8 seconds, before topping out at 255 kph.

Apart from that, the Macan GTS rides 10mm lower than the Turbo, thanks to re-tuned air suspension and Porsche’s Active Suspension Management. It also has a recalibrated Stability Management system.

The GTS interior is distinguished by leather/Alcantara inserts on the sports seats, with ‘GTS’ embroidered on them. On the infotainment front, there’s Porsche Communication Management with a 7-inch touchscreen, an 8-speaker audio system and satellite radio as standard.

The 2017 Porsche Macan GTS will go on sale in UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC early next year.

  1. interesting how little success this one has here in the region. you hardly see it on the roads

    • That’s where you’re wrong marc. The Porsche factory cannot keep up with the Global demand for the Macan. The cars have been equally distributed to the Porsche Centres around the world.
