Audi has officially revealed the 2017 Q3 facelift recently. While performance is generally the same, the new look certainly gives it a more aggressive touch.

Audi’s svelte A5 coupe has now been around for nine years, but it’s aged with the utmost of grace –- so much so that one could argue it’s still as visually appealing as the much newer BMW 4-Series and Mercedes C-Class Coupe it competes head-to-head with. But it’s clear an all-new model was due if the A5 was to remain competitive with Teutonic rivals in terms of performance, dynamics, cabin layout and mod-cons. Right on cue, here’s the new second-gen 2017 A5, which we had the opportunity to sample at its recent international launch in Portugal.

After the updated A4 and S4 took the limelight, Audi has released the details regarding the all-new A5 and S5 coupe models for 2017. The exterior changes aren’t that huge, but are good enough to give the new models a fresh appearance.

When the first generation Audi R8 was launched in 2007, it caused quite a stir with its supercar looks, while combining it with daily drivability and good performance. For Audi, it likely wasn’t easy coming up with a new one. After almost a decade, the German luxury automaker has launched the new-generation R8. Still keeping the somewhat-similar exterior look with more edgier styling, the latest R8 is actually all-new from the ground up. Sadly, the V8 engine is gone, which we rather enjoyed in the previous model. However, the brilliant V10 is still there, which we had a go with on the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Audi recently launched the all-new 2016 A4, the ninth generation of the German luxury brand’s top-selling sedan. It was their best seller in their entire line-up worldwide till 2012, when it was overtaken by the Q5 crossover. Audi went with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach for the looks, while adding their latest tech underneath the skin.
