تحدّد BMW معايير جديدة في قطاع سيارات النشاط الرياضي الصغيرة مع إطلاق أحدث أفراد عائلة X مع BMW X1. وقد تمّ تزويد السيارة الجديدة التي تنضمّ إلى سجلّ سيارات النشاط الرياضي X بمختلف الخصائص والمواصفات التي تميّز مجموعة سيارات X من BMW، غير أنّها تقدّم في الوقت نفسه ترجمة جديدة لمتعة القيادة الفائقة التي لا يمكن أن تفارق BMW.

وتمتاز خصائص القيادة التي تتمتّع بها BMW X1 بالتناغم المثالي ما بين الرشاقة الفائقة والمزايا الرياضية البارعة إلى جانب مظهر سيارات النشاط الرياضي ورشاقة الفئة الأولى. وقد أُصدِرت هذه السيارة بمحركين اثنين مختلفين ويبلغ طولها 4.45 متراً، ولا شكّ في انّ هذه السيارة ذات الأبواب الخمسة ستتألّق من كلّ جانب بمزايا طرازات BMW X.
