And now, the time has come to mourn another loss as Subaru has revealed plans to roll the curtain down on the WRX STI in the UK. To give it a fitting farewell, they’ve announced a Subaru WRX STI Final Edition.
We got to test-drive something different last week. Something that is genuinely Japanese and not the Chinese-American-Australian Japanese. Something that is blisteringly fast, sounds awesome, and is a pure joy to drive. It is interesting on the tarmac, and only gets infinitely more interesting beyond it. It is the all-new 2015 Subaru WRX STI.
The current Subaru Impreza WRX sedan is lukewarm, to say the least, looking like a econo-appliance rather than the sporting compact that it is. But the 2011 model is going to be facelifted, with a widebody kit similar to the WRX STI.
