Infiniti is by far the hottest car company in the world right now. With design successes such as the G sedan and the FX midsize crossover, Nissan’s luxury arm plans to introduce a compact luxury crossover called the EX35 at the 2007 NY Auto Show.

The EX packs the 306 hp 3.5-litre V6 engine and the design cues from the G35 sedan. We expect the EX35 to reach production virtually unchanged. If priced aggressively, it will make the BMW X3 and the upcoming Audi Q5 look like overpriced jokes.
