2008 Chevy Corvette gets larger V8

The standard 2008 Chevrolet Corvette gets a handful of upgrades for the new model year, including a new 6.2-litre LS3 V8.
The larger engine is capable of 430 hp, compared to the 400 hp of the outgoing 6.0-litre LS2 V8. Torque is bumped up to 574 Nm. In addition, there’s a new high-flow cylinder head, larger valves, an acoustically-tuned intake manifold, a dual-stage exhaust system and a less cheap interior.
