Unique Ferrari F430 Calavera by Novitec
Having spent over 11 months developing this car, German design house Unique Sportcars has completed their first design concept based on the Ferrari F430, called the Calavera.
Limiting the series to only eleven cars, the Calavera Ferrari F430 is a collaboration with Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso and airbrush artist Knud Tiroch.
The Calavera, meaning “skull” in Spanish, has a few special extras on the exterior, with LED running lights, an illuminated engine compartment, and unique airbrushed designs on the paint.
The Calavera Ferrari’s embroidered seats and a modified central console has extensions such as an Apple iPod port, and funky airbrushed designs all over.
The whole procedure of tuning includes completely dismantling the vehicle’s frame. The modifications of engine, aerodynamics, rims, tires and sports exhaust system are done by Novitec. All custom work is completed within about 3 months.
The modified Ferrari F430 comes with 707 hp and 712 Nm of torque, with a 0–100 kph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 348 kph. At the heart of the Calavera lies a Novitec Rosso twin-supercharger 4.3-litre V8 engine.
The package includes special 20-inch wheels, wider tyres, a front spoiler, better brakes and a sports suspension that can be raised by 40 mm at the front at the push of a button to safely navigate speed bumps. Once the car reaches a speed of 80 kph the suspension automatically lowers itself back to normal position, about 35 mm lower than the production car.
These cars are only available via special order.
