The facelifted 2010 Ford Fusion has debuted in the GCC via TV commercials, and has been on sale in the UAE for more than a week now, although we haven’t heard of any official announcements from Ford Middle East.

According to Vivek, one of our readers, it is available only in 175 hp 2.5-litre 4-cylinder guise. The 2010 Ford Fusion is currently being offered in Dubai showrooms in a single trim level that includes a 6-speed automatic, Ford SYNC voice-activated entertainment system, Bluetooth phone, keyless entry, power windows, manual A/C, power driver seat, 12-speaker Sony sound system, fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, capless fuel filler, dual chrome-tipped exhausts, four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, traction control, stability control, front-side airbags and curtain airbags, reverse sensors and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

This looks to be a mid-range trim level, and retails for Dhs 82,000. The U.S. market gets various other models that includes two V6 engines, a ‘sport’ model and even a hybrid model.

For further updated information later, keep track of the Ford Fusion buyer guide.

  1. I’m so in love with the looks, handling and comfort of tis one! 🙂

  2. I was on the verge of buying it when the Salesman diverted my attention to the Ford Edge.
    How is the fuel consumption?
    and power?
Is there body roll while taking curves?

  3. this is 1 of the best packaged mid size car in the market…really value for money compared to japanese mid size sedans…

  4. @nanda: there is mild body roll while taking curves; there are no unpleasant surprises and the car stays in hand..shud things go wrong, the esp keeps everythin in check and safe..and the car has excellent grip levels compared to almost any other car in it’s segment..the engine felt responsive and powerful enough to justify the numbers on the spec sheet..however i did not get a chance to get the actual acceleration timings..and no idea about fuel consumption since all i got was a 5-10 minutes test drive from Ford themselves…

  5. Definitely better than those full options japanese cars out there..maybe there should’ve been a base model to truly give competetion to the japs.

  6. How would you compare it with the new Mazda 6 2.5l Ultra model?
