Lexus GS 350 F Sport 2013 to be revealed at SEMA show

Toyota’s luxury division Lexus is all keen to steal the show at the SEMA 2011 exhibition in Las Vegas, with the debut of the 2013 GS 350 F Sport featuring a unique performance and visual upgrade package. Though no visual extravaganza, the racing-inspired F Sport package does give the GS 350 some aggressive mien.

The 2013 Lexus GS 350 with F Sport package, available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive forms, is propelled by the same 3.5-litre V6 VVTi gasoline beast powering the regular GS 350, featuring both port and direct injection, and boasting 306 horses and 376 Nm of torque. The transmission, adopting many features from the Lexus IS-F sedan, is a 6-speed sequential-shift automatic box with paddle shifters and sport driving functions including the Sport S and Sport S+ modes for faster shifts and downshift throttle blips. Lexus did not forget to include an ECO mode besides the Normal mode for improved fuel efficiency. Accelerating from standstill, the GS 350 walks past 100 kph in 5.7 seconds.

Unique to the F Sport package will be aggressive 19-inch wheels, F Sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension, thicker anti-roll bars, bushing changes, and new larger front brakes with high friction pads, optional Lexus Dynamic Handling system with Dynamic Rear Steering and aided by Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system, 19-inch staggered-width wheels and variable-ratio steering for rear-wheel-drive models, F Sport exterior and interior badging, 16-way power-adjustable sports seat with power side bolsters, thigh support, adjustable seatback and four-way lumbar, and two unique exterior paints namely Riviera Red and Liquid Platinum.

There is no word on the pricing and availability of the GS 350 F Sport in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, though it may be entirely possible for this beast to show up as a Limited Edition model.

  1. I hope this is only an F Package not the proper F model they have been talking about, which should come with a huge 5.0 liter V8 like the one found in the IS-F.

  2. Bigger + meaner lookin’ IS,I like it ,
but I bet the price would be ridicules ,
looks like the BMW 5 series is gonna be the least
    Sporty in its segment.

    • BMW M5 sets the standards in this segment… sorry, I really cant agree with your statement.

    • beating a car interms of figures and numbers doesnt mean anything.. Because perfection is in the details and the Germans build everything is purpose and consideration to how the end product would perform and feel.

Something the Japanese are struggling to set a standard in.

  3. Boring….

  4. owns a lexus and a merc i get more problem in merc than lexus

  5. needed more horses hard to beat bmw
