Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2013 revealed indirectly

Hyundai has put up official images of the their new 2013 Genesis Coupe on their worldwide Facebook page, and while no other details are available, they’re pretty easy to guess.

Now armed with a frontal facelift that will appeal to some but not others, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be powered by a 210 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-4 or a new 333 hp 3.8-litre V6, the latter being the direct-injected one from the 2012 Genesis sedan. It remains to be seen whether the direct-injected engine is offered in the UAE and other GCC countries.

Keep track of updates in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe buyer guide.

And for anyone says anything, yes that grey picture was leaked before, and yes, Hyundai said at the time that it was a fake. Turns out they were lying.

  2. Do you think, the 210 hp 2.0-litre turbo is going to come here? I wouldn’t mind it, and if its priced competitively, it will really move. With a current price of AED115,000 for the older 3.8litre ( as stated by some readers of D.Arabia), the 2.0L can act as entry level. The car looks good in the pictures above, although I’m highly reminded of Veloster.

  3. today at motorshow i asked them the current model is sold at 105,000 now…facelift looks more muscular…hoodscoop looks nice

  4. guys the new engine will be close to 270HP, similar to what the 2.0T Sonata has.

  5. How can I join your Car contest on Facebook as I badly need a car this Christmas season and in the Spirit of giving and sharing and caring
