2012 Geneva Motor Show: Photo coverage

The 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6th and 7th, quite possible Europe’s largest auto show even though Switzerland has no functioning automotive industry, yet again plays host to a number of production debuts and inquisitive concepts. New models include the VW Golf GTI Cabriolet, the Volvo V40, the Ford Fiesta ST, the Lexus RX and the Hyundai i20. Ironically, the concepts outnumber the real debuts this year. These include the Bentley EXP 9 F 4×4, the Infiniti Emerg-E, the Nissan Hi-Cross, the SsangYong XIV-2 and more.

  1. Great Photos

I have a question regarding photo number 62 (the Seat Toledo). Are these U-shaped rear bumbers safe?

My 2011 Jetta was cancelled (total loss) because the hit came in the left corner below the tail light and there was nothing but the plastic bumper to protect the car. The hit affected the rear wheel suspension, the exhaust and the chassis.

I miss the days when the whole fender and corner were made of steel.

  2. the pictures are nice, but its wrong to publish the pictures without the name of the car, because there is a lot of these cars we cant know what brand is it. we wish if you could write the name of each car as you used to do it in the past, Thank you

  3. Great photos. Thanks for the effort, but yea I agree with ahmad regarding naming the pictures.. coz there are cars we don’t know + if you can take a rear photos for some unknown cars 😀

In Picture (49), is that going to be the new Nissan Murano? if yes, that is great! it looks much better than current one

    Thanks in advance 😀
