ROUSH gives 2013 Ford Mustang V6 a makeover

Many of you might desire ROUSH’s 565 hp 2013 Stage 3 Mustang, but don’t have bank statements that can justify its price tag. For the majority, ROUSH does make a cheaper alternative in the form of Stage 1 and 2 versions of the car, but for those have bottled up grocery change over the last couple years, ROUSH has built the 2013 RS Mustang.

The RS package, which stands for “ROUSH Six”, starts at Dhs 14,680 in the United States on top of the car’s price. The 2013 ROUSH RS is based on the 3.7-litre V6 Ford Mustang and receives an array of ROUSH-engineered styling and handling. It pushes out the same 305 horses and 380 Nm of torque.

Chassis enhancements include 19-inch painted wheels and tyres found on the factory Ford Mustang GT, with Brembo brakes and ROUSH lowering springs which lowers the car approximately by one inch. Bodily enhancements include R6 aerobody components featured on the ROUSH Stage vehicles including the high-flow upper and lower grilles, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters and rear decklid spoiler.

This ‘Stang comes with distinct “R” fender badges and “R” ROUSH faux gas cap. Also on display is the ROUSH windshield banner. Optional hood scoop, rear quarter window louvers, RS exterior side and hood graphics are also available.

Interior upgrades include ROUSH-embroidered floor mats, billet performance pedals and a ROUSH centre console badge/button. Optional upgrades include a GT charcoal leather seating or ROUSH sport leather seating along with white or black shifter ball and the suede-wrapped performance steering wheel. ROUSH door sill plates are available with ambient lighting.

The only Roush-tuned Mustang available in the UAE is the expensive RS3, but that could change in the future.
