Ark Performance tuned Hyundai Veloster at SEMA


Hyundai Veloster fans will witness the unveiling of the ARK Performance “Alpine” concept at this year’s SEMA show.

The Alpine gets the uprated version of the standard 201 hp Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Power now peaks at 232 hp at 5,500 rpm aided by a with a torque boost which now is rated at 325 Nm available from 1,700 rpm. The most prominent mods include an ARK exhaust, test pipe and turbo up-pipes, a K&N intake, Nitrous Express Proton kit, Ark oil cooler and a Koyo radiator.

Other modifications to help the dynamics of the Alpine include Ark coilover system, big brake kit and strut bar. The Alpine rides on Gram Light 57Xtremes.

Aesthetic enhancements include an Ark/Adro body kit and CF Rally Wing was covered in Custom Pearl White by Beyond Coachworks. The cabin gets a “Alpine Edition” interior featuring custom seats, instrument panel, steering wheel roof liner. The interiors also get a fair dose of alcantara, mildew-repelling Italian leather and WeatherTek material.

Further design accents include a Seibon Carbon hood and deck lid, and headlamps and tail lamps by 180 Customs.

  1. The front lights seems to be inspired from Subaru Legacy. Still an ugly car in my opinion..

    • It’s actually a very beautiful car IMO 🙂 Subjective isn’t it? Particularly I love the 3 doors idea. My only problem with the actual model in showrooms is a very modest 1.6L engine AND a relatively high price (75k in UAE).

    • Looks are subjective..thats why i said “in my opinion”! I dont like it at all…

      Price is high for what is offered here. Maybe 65,000 is more suitable for a 1.6 ltr car.
