Maserati has officially launched their new Quattroporte in Oman, at a high-profile event held at Grand Hyatt, Muscat a few weeks ago. The model was revealed in UAE and various other parts of the GCC earlier this year.

The model certainly ups their stature in the GCC, and we were particularly impressed with the new design over the older version. There is also a significant change in the interior. As expected, there is a generous amount of leather and wood, as well as a newly-designed steering wheel and the 8.4-inch touch screen. Everything about the car certainly puts the Quattroporte in the ‘luxury sedan’ class.

The Quattroporte will come with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 or a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 404 hp and 530 hp respectively. The V8 version is also reported to be assembled by Ferrari, and has a 0-100 kph time of 4.7 seconds.

The pricing for the car will revolve around the 60,000 Omani Riyals mark. Of course, prices will vary largely depending on the variants. Maserati is exclusively sold in the Sultanate of Oman by AlFardan Motors, who also for the record, is the agent for Ferrari in this region.
