Infiniti teases Q30 premium compact concept ahead of Frankfurt debut

Infiniti Q30 Concept
Just when we thought the Frankfurt Motor Show wouldn’t get any more cramped, Infiniti has added one more car to the list of unveilings. The company says that the Q30 Concept will make its global debut in Frankfurt next month.

This certainly gives us an insight into the future of premium small cars for the brand. And the sketch on top is what Infiniti teased us with. It leaves us with just enough to let us wonder how the actual vehicle will look.

We can say that this Q30 is headed in a much different direction than the 2012 LE Concept unveiled at New York last year, as it has an even more aggressive styling to go with its two-box design.

The Q30 is the not only the first Infiniti concept to come out under the company’s new design director, Alfonso Albaisa. It will be the first Infiniti model Sebastian Vettel, Infiniti’s Director of Performance, will influence from its inception. The three-time Formula One world champion from Infiniti Red Bull Racing, who was actively involved in honing the driving dynamics of the Infiniti Q50, is engaging with Infiniti’s technical teams around the world as part of a commitment to infuse the brand with race-bred performance.

We’re expecting more news on the Q30 concept to pour in after it debuts in Frankfurt. So keep your eyes posted.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates of the current models in the Infiniti buyer guide.
