  1. Best hatchback award should have been awarded to the Mazda 3 Hatchback, its way better than the tiida

  2. Corolla ???? That’s rubbish. The new gen corolla is a total rubbish. Most of he awards are not in sync with drive Arabia reports. Where is mazda 6 ???

    • Ours was only one vote out of 14.

    • Ya, even I don’t agree with Corolla, what about Fords, safety, handling and airbags thingy we were talking about.

    • Well it’s better than the Rubbish Sentra. What an ugly car.

    • I don’t say Corolla is rubbish. But when on earth did it become a mid-size sedan?? And when did the Fusion go large?

    • Nobody told corolla is rubbish, neither we want to compare Sentra, nor we are talking about fusion. All Fords from Fiesta, Focus to bulky Expedition handle well, drive nicely and are loaded with safety features, all middle east website conclude the same, so the question was why others also didn’t vote for non-japanese standard car, writing one thing in review and other in award page.

    • Because we continue to be, quite possibly, the only honest automotive publication in the GCC.

  3. Best mid size sedan Mazda 6 every where in the world.

  4. Mazda not on the list?!! Bulls**t!!

  5. Corolla mid size & Fusion Large Sedan?! Aren’t they both the same category with the Camry and Taurus the ‘Large Sedan’ category respectively? No Mazda in there is a joke. The 3 and 6 make the corollary pre historic..

  6. Looks like they were trying to spread the awards across as many manufacturers as possible…

  7. no mitsubishi ?

  8. Maybe some weird selections…but the final decision is correct..the whole automotive world agrees on the S-Class being the best car in the world money come buy as an all rounder….:) it always sets the bars for others..good job MB..

  9. Would love to read a review on the Car of the Year Mercedes-Benz S-Class

  10. Some of the winners in these awards put a big question mark on the quality of auto journalism in the Middle East as compared to India, Australia and Europe but also it is more reflective of the knowledge of consumer here when it comes to Car buying.
