So we got a 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

We’ve driven several cookie-cutter BMWs. We’ve tested many Bentleys. But we never brought home a Rolls-Royce. We were saving it for a very special occasion, whatever it might be. However, that special occasion never quite seemed to require actually borrowing a Rolls. So when they themselves called us up and offered us a second-gen Ghost, we simply took it. At least mini-Mash would get to ride in one, even if he won’t remember it when he grows up.

The Ghost is smaller than a Phantom, but is a big car in its own right, easier to drive around town and maybe even hustle a bit.

Inside, it’s fairly spacious, though not as much as you’d think. Even the boot is average at best, thanks to unseen space taken up by all sorts of machinery that support the in-cabin luxury gadgetry.

But that’s what a Rolls-Royce is all about — the in-cabin luxury. All the seats are as thick as sofas, with individual a/c controls for four passengers, tray-tables, chunky wood panelling, fluffy carpets, leather headliner, cold metal vents and what not.

Yes, getting the opportunity to pilot a Rolls-Royce is a special occasion in itself. More in the full review.

  1. Nice one to be offered a RR just like that….

  2. Suprised to see the use of ‘ goose neck’ supports for the boot lid, that too without even a trim for the same. What’s happened to the RR?

  3. Nice! can you tell me the location of the second Photo? Seems like an airfield.

  4. Wow Mashfique, your second pic is just a masterpiece :D, You should frame it in the house.

  5. Just look at that dial in the rear seats center console. Reminded me of early 90’s rotator for T.V antennas. LOL

  6. This is a motoring site, not facebook… keeps your kids pictures over there
