Mercedes-Benz have taken the wraps off the all-new 2016 C 63 Coupe AMG. The reveal comes soon after the C-Class Coupe made its debut recently.

The C 63 Coupe gets a more aggressive front bumper, grille and splitter. The back end gets a trunk-mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser kit with four exhaust-pipes sticking out of it.

The interior features sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and AMG badging.

Under the hood, the C 63 Coupe gets a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission. This is good enough to produce 469 hp and 650 Nm of torque, which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 kph in 4.0 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kph. It goes up to 290 kph with the optional AMG Driver’s Package.

The C 63 S Coupe gets an upgraded engine which produces about 503 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This helps it reach from 0-100 kph in 3.9 seconds.

The 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe could make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries sometime next year.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Mercedes-Benz C63 Coupe AMG buyer guide.

  1. Now thats a gorgeous Merc ! The back end looks much like the 911’s, in a good way.

    • YEs agree. Guess this is nowadays the code for the coupés. Aston Martin, Honda Accord coupé, BMWs, Mercedes, Porsche as you mention, etc…
