Nissan launched the facelifted 2017 Altima in the GCC this week, at an event in the UAE.

The 2017 Nissan Altima features a new front-end that includes the headlights, grille, bonnet and bumpers. The V6 models get LED headlights running lamps. Inside, the seats have been reshaped and the cup-holders are larger.

The car was on display at a press conference where Nissan Middle East reaffirmed their commitment to re-establishing in the Saudi Arabian market with new dealers Alissa Auto and Petromin. GCC sales have also grown 70% year-on-year over the past five years, with Patrol sales alone growing by 235% in that timeframe (and heck, we just bought one too). The Nismo performance arm was also launched late last year, with the first warmed-over Nismo Patrol models entering the GCC market this month.

  1. Feels like a Sentra bumped into a Maxima!

  2. lol at the central display (between 2 gauges) still displaying the prev. generation Altima! good job nissan

  3. Ugly front end just like new Maxima

  4. Did no one notice how he mentioned that he bought a Patrol? Or did I miss interpret it?

  5. With the corporate look across the board the only Nissan Sedan one needs is the updated for 2017 Sentra. That car looks the best among Nissan three sedans and costs the least too. Can’t wait to hail the new one for a ride home from work 😉

  6. What version did you buy mash ?

  7. Can’t wait to see fuel economy numbers, since I am planning to buy Patrols brother (QX80)

  8. Hey Mash….what do you think is the best sedan right now…. altima vs maxima vs mazda 6 vs accord….you can add the new civic to the mix. The next question what are you looking for ? Just an overall rating in terms of reliability and driving fun and maintenance. Resale and fuel economy….let’s ignore that now

Hard to say. You can go through the reviews and decide what you prefer since we covered them all. For that amount of money, I bought an old Range Rover, lulz.

  9. Mash, congrats for the Patrol. Finally you get one car which is an all time GCC favourite. Looking forward to the presentation and updates of ownership. Have been contemplating the Patrol for a few yrs…

  10. Shame on me 🙁

Thanks mash, around 15 L/100km is not to bad for 400 HP 7 seater.

Hope I get a good deal with Ramadan promotions.
