Aston Martin recently revealed a limited edition Vanquish Zagato Coupe, which was built in collaboration with Italian design-house Zagato. A concept was first showcased at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Estate during May this year and due to good customer response, Aston Martin decided to make 99 examples.

Under the hood, the 6.0-litre V12 engine has been upgraded to 592 hp, which takes it from 0-100 kph in about 3.7 seconds.

The exterior gets a carbon-fibre bodywork with hardly any split-lines due to use of large body panels. The rear taillights are new as well, which gets round taillight reflectors and LED technology taken from the Aston Martin Vulcan. The side mirrors are closely related to the ones used in the One-77. It also gets the Zagato trademark double-bubble roof and the dynamic rear pillars.

Inside, the interior has been upgraded with carbon-fibre, anodized bronze and optional aniline leather. It also gets the ‘Z’ quilt pattern stitch on the seats and door sections, as well the ‘Z’ logos on the headrests and centre console.

Customers should be getting delivery of their cars in the first quarter of 2017. Expect a few to show up in the UAE or other GCC countries.
